FAQ

1 / When are you open?

We are open 7 days a week! Check out our current hours here.

2 / Are you hiring?

We do not currently have any open positions, but when we do, we will list them on website or social media apps.

3 / Can I bring my child to the River Kitty Café?

Children aged 7 and older can visit with the cats with a paid adult. Children under the age of 7 are permitted for half hour reservations. One paid adult must be present for every 2 children.  Patrons of any age can visit the cafe to observe the frisky felines without entering the cat lounge.

4/ Can I bring food or drinks into the cat lounge?

Any food or beverages purchased at the River Kitty Café can be brought into the cat lounge.

5/ How many people are allowed in the cat lounge?

For the health and safety of our cats, only 15 reservations are permitted each hour. This helps to minimize stress on our feline residents and makes for a more enjoyable experience.

6/ Can I bring my own cat into the cat lounge?

No. Unfortunately, bringing your own cat would not only be stressful for our resident cats, but stressful for your cat.

7/ Do I need to make a reservation?

Reservations are not required, but highly encouraged. Without a reservation, visits to the cat lounge are available on a first come, first serve basis.

8/ What if I visit the cat lounge and they are sleeping?

We hope that when you visit, the cats are alert and playful. However, cats DO need about 16 hours of sleep each day. If you hope to see the cats when they are more playful, the best times are after 12 pm or 4 pm.
